Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-10-02. Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, mail [email protected] and we will fix the page rather than the question.
This is the short list of things you cannot send us. It is short because a long list is a list nobody reads.
1. You must have the right to it
You may only send us recordings you own or have permission to send. This includes making sure the people in them agreed to be recorded and, where their voice or likeness will be published, that they agreed to that.
Do not send us other people's shows, courses, films, or paid material. Do not send us anything you scraped from someone else's platform.
2. Illegal content
Nothing unlawful, and nothing that depicts the abuse of children. We do not need to be told which of the law it is; we do not need to investigate first. We will hand material to law enforcement where we are required to.
3. Impersonation and fraud
Do not use the service to impersonate a person or organisation, to misrepresent who you are, or to deceive anyone about who made a piece of work.
4. Deception about the content
Do not use the service to produce audio or video of a real person saying something they did not say, or to place a real person in a situation they were not in. This includes synthetic replicas of a person's voice or face.
5. Bulk or abusive use
Do not use the service to resell access, to power someone else's product without telling us, or in a way that degrades the service for other people. If you want to use this at volume or as part of a product, talk to us first.
6. Reverse engineering and circumvention
Do not probe, scan, or attempt to break the service, and do not try to get around the allowance, the limits, or the payment. Attempting to circumvent the meter is a breach of these Terms whatever else you do.
7. Harassment and harmful content
Do not send us content whose purpose is to harass, threaten, or demean people, or that promotes hatred or violence against people because of who they are.
8. Our response
We may refuse to accept material, stop work on an episode, or close an account. Where we can, we will tell you why. Where the law allows us to, we will tell you anyway.
9. Reporting
If you think something here breaks this policy, tell us at [email protected]. If you think we have broken the law treating your content this way, you can complain to your regulator.
